Mechanical Design Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Bridport. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or similar. Either graduates will be considered or candidates with experience.
Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview- Create and modify CAD drawings using IMOS software
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of production activities
- Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements
- Liaise with production staff to ensure smooth workflow from design to completion
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of design and production changes
- Support general administrative tasks related to production and design
- Experience with CAD software is essential; IMOS experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Salary:
- Starting from £30,000 per annum (for candidates with no experience)
- Up to £40,000 per annum for the right candidate with relevant experience and skills competitive salary based on experience
