TIG Welder – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Salary: Up to £17 per hour (depending on experience & weld test)
Be part of a growing, dynamic welding team! Our client specialises in precision sheet metal fabrication for a wide range of industries, including electronics, medical, transport, and construction. What You’ll Do:
- Carry out daily TIG welding operations (MIG welding experience is a bonus!).
- Interpret engineering drawings and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
- Maintain a safe, organised workspace and adhere to all health & safety procedures.
- Deliver high-quality work to defined tolerances and standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet schedules and resolve welding or quality issues.
- Be flexible to work overtime when needed to meet customer deadlines.
What We’re Looking for:
- Qualifications: Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent), welding-specific qualification or evidence of time served.
- Experience: Proven TIG welding experience; MIG experience is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, strong fabrication knowledge, attention to detail, good practical skills, and a reliable work ethic.

- Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00 (39 hours/week).
