About the SchoolThis specialist provision supports pupils aged 3 to 19 with a range of complex learning difficulties, including:

• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Communication and sensory processing needs

About the SEN Teaching RoleAs the class teacher for a group of KS3 students with special needs, you will:

• Deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Be supported by four experienced SEN teaching assistants
• Work within a collaborative and supportive SEN teaching team
• Use a range of strategies to support communication, sensory integration, and behavioural needs
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment

? Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Has experience teaching in a special school, SEN unit, or inclusive mainstream setting
• Demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and flexible teaching style
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about supporting pupils withSEND,SLD,PMLD, orASD
