Senior Operations Accountant – Brigg – Up to £55,000 + BenefitsAn exciting opportunity as Senior Operations Accountant for a market leading, fast growing business in North Lincolnshire. As Senior Operations Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the management accounts and operational reporting for multiple manufacturing sites and logistics division. Senior Operations Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate weekly and periodic manufacturing and logistics P&Ls for multiple sites
  • Reconcile COGs and gross margin, investigating variances and discrepancies
  • Responsible for weekly operational variance reporting, direct and indirect labour analysis and fixed costs
  • Review weekly PI counts & stock reporting to support purchasing and operational forecasting
  • Business partner Senior Manufacturing and Logistics managers ensuring delivery of accurate and timely financial information
  • Lead and develop operational reporting packs including commentary to identify and drive operational efficiencies
  • Deliver insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and systems.
  • Responsibility for tracking in year savings for improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Qualified or later stages PQ CIMA/ ACCA
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work towards deadlines in a changing environment
  • IT literate including excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders
