Role Overview: As the Assistant Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our asset management, environmental, health and safety policies and programs. Your efforts will ensure compliance with regulations, promote a culture of safety, and foster environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & Guidance: Assist the Engineering Manager and provide support on asset management and maintenance.
  • Coordination: Oversee maintenance engineering schedules and systems.
  • Project Supervision: Supervise minor projects and site improvements.
  • Data Management: Compile and log spares and maintenance data.
  • Safety & Compliance: Liaise with engineers for risk assessments, issue work orders, and maintain high safety standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor EHS regulations, prepare reports, and develop policies.
  • Collaboration: Work with teams on risk mitigation strategies and support environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain records, ensure data accuracy, and report on progress and objectives.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate across departments and trade unions, supporting revenue and EBITDA targets.
