We are seeking an Agricultural Service Technician to join our team in a dynamic role that involves maintenance and repairs of agricultural machinery. This position offers the opportunity to work both in the field at customer farms and at our depot workshop, providing a varied work environment with plenty of local travel.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on various agricultural machinery, ensuring high standards of work and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer farms to provide onsite services, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs both in the field and at the depot workshop as required.
  • Complete all necessary reports and administrative tasks associated with work assignments promptly.
  • Engage in continuous learning through mandatory training sessions to support product knowledge and professional development.
  • Comply with all health and safety legislation, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.
  • Assist in pre-delivery setups on new or used equipment and support service specialists when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional demeanour with the ability to promote the company positively.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred, but not required as full training will be provided.
  • Valid driving licence is essential for operating company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly during seasonal peaks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
