- Full responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, including transactional processing, month-end and year-end close.
- Preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
- Cash flow forecasting and management.
- Budget preparation, monitoring and reforecasting.
- VAT returns, CIS returns and statutory compliance.
- Liaison with external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Managing Director and wider management team to support strategic business initiatives.
- A qualified or QBE finance professional, ideally with experience within an SME environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) or similar ERP/accounting systems would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a hands-on approach.
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
