Conveyancing Assistant – Brighouse

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy residential property team at a well-regarded legal firm in Brighouse. This is a full-time office-based role ideal for someone with at least twelve months of practical experience in residential sales and purchases.

The role is focused on client service and requires a professional friendly and proactive person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will support Fee Earners and Solicitors with a high-volume caseload and must be confident handling administrative tasks from file opening to completion.

This position offers long term career growth and the chance to further develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team.

Main Duties Include:

  • Opening new files and entering client details into the case management system
  • Preparing initial letters legal documents and contracts for sale files
  • Progressing transactions according to internal procedures
  • Ordering property searches and preparing client reports
  • Assisting with exchange of contracts completions and related tasks
  • Handling telephone and email queries from clients estate agents and solicitors
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Helping with general office tasks such as filing billing and archiving

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least twelve months in a conveyancing assistant role with experience in sales and purchases
  • Strong administrative abilities and attention to detail
  • Good computer skills and accurate typing
  • Clear written and spoken communication
  • Able to manage time and tasks well under pressure
  • Friendly professional and focused on client care
  • Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
  • Flexible proactive and keen to contribute
