A chemical manufacturer based in Brighouse is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their Technical Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the chemical industry and play a vital role in ensuring the high standards of raw materials and finished products within a fast-paced and supportive team. This role is open to school leaver applicants qualified to A-Level and given the time of year, may suit individuals seeking a role having completed their college studies this year!

This role will focus on:

  • Conducting quality control tests on raw materials and finished goods
  • Ensuring chemical strength and adjustments are accurate per recipes
  • Preparing certificates of analysis and maintaining records
  • Supporting consistency in product quality and helping drive continuous improvement
  • Adhering to health & safety regulations and best laboratory practices
  • Assisting across dyes and flame retardants during peak periods

We are seeking the following background:

  • Maths qualification (GCSE or A-Level)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working independently in a lab environment

Naturally previous experience in a quality control or similar technical role is advantageous however if you are keen to begin your career in the laboratory we are interested in hearing from you.
