We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Assistant to join their on-site team in Hove. The role supports a range of finance tasks and plays an important part in the day-to-day running of the finance function. You will join a collaborative, small finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This role also offers exposure to wider group entities, providing a varied and engaging experience across multiple areas of finance.
Main Responsibilities
- Sales Ledger ownership and management
- Pro active Credit Control
- Bank transactions
- Assist with purchase ledger and supplier payments
- Maintain credit card expenses and petty cash records
- Support payroll and journal entries
- Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit preparation
- General office admin (calls, emails, filing, scanning)
