Join a Friendly, Professional Club with a Passion for Food and Service
Were looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen and deliver high-quality, seasonal food in a welcoming and community-focused Club environment.
Youll be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, budgeting, stock control, and team management. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to put your own stamp on the kitchen and contribute to the Clubs growing reputation for excellent food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver fresh, seasonal menus within budget
- Lead a small kitchen team with a focus on quality and consistency
- Oversee food prep, service, cleaning, and stock control
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Maintain high hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Club Secretary
- Ensure a positive experience for all members, guests, and visitors
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Great people and kitchen management skills
- Calm under pressure and organised in a busy environment
- Understanding of food costings and financial targets
- Food Hygiene and Health & Safety qualifications
- A passion for good food and excellent service
