The Role
Reporting directly to and working closely with the MD, this is an excellent opportunity for a white-collar permanent resource/recruiter with a background in placing personnel into the Built Environment or Engineering sectors to join a small, profitable and friendly business.
Responsibilities
To support the Director by assisting in research and sourcing candidates for vacancies and also sourcing leads for vacancies.
Candidate Delivery Consultant Duties/tasks:
- Research and Identify candidates for vacancies for executive search assignments.
- Sourcing candidates and building talent pools social media our CRM and job boards
- Conduct research to identify potential candidates
- Tactfully headhunt and source for both passive and actively looking candidates
- Continuously updating candidates details on our database.
- Create candidate engagement themes/programmes mailers/promotions
- Interviewing candidates and understanding their skills & experience and motives for considering new opportunities
- Identify leads through candidate interviews and other media for us to sell our recruitment services into
Creating engaging content for our website blog,
Creating engaging content for social media
Adding contacts to the database and assigning them to groups
Creating Groups on the database for candidates
Assess in-coming job applications
Writing and posting job adverts on our website and job boards
Supporting the Director with ad-hoc administration and recruitment tasks as required
Type of person & Experience Required
- Previously experience in white-collar permanent recruitment ideally within the construction or civil engineering sector / or very least a specialist technical recruitment sector
- The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Site Managers Ability to independently manage candidate searches and operate autonomously
- Experience working in remote environments and demonstrating excellent organisational skills
- Needs to be professional and confident on the phone and in communication with a sales orientation preferable.
- Competent in researching/searching and using databases
- Using their initiative and generating/presenting new ideas.
- Needs to be engaging as a team player and highly trustworthy and dependable
