- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with VAT returns and corporation tax filings.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data.
- Monitor and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and commentary to support business performance reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or working towards qualification).
- Proven experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
