The role is working with a well-established business in central Brighton. Working on a hybrid basis, you will be overseeing mutliple companies within the Group structure.
Description
As the Senior Management Accountant, your job responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, as well as P&L, Balance Sheet etc.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
- Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Manage the property finance inbox (with support).
- Manage cash flow and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality/property or related industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
