We're hiring a UK Trading Manager to lead trading activity for a well-known consumer brand, balancing commercial planning with hands-on execution.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home 3 days a week, alongside in-office collaboration in Brighton, Sussex.

What Youll Be Doing:

Manage trading performance for the UK market, ensuring delivery against sales, margin, and stock targets.
Lead forecasting, planning, and promotional activity, optimising product availability and profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, supply chain, and marketing to align trading strategy with business goals.
Analyse trading data to make informed decisions and respond quickly to market trends.
Present key performance insights to stakeholders and support ongoing trading improvements.

What Youll Bring:

4+ years experience in a similar trading, category, or commercial role.
Proven background in retail, FMCG, clothing, or a related consumer-led industry.
Advanced Excel skills confident in using formulas, pivot tables, and data models to support forecasting and decision-making.
Strong knowledge of stock control, promotional planning, and commercial forecasting.
Strategic mindset with the ability to manage the detail and see the bigger picture.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
