Penguin Recruitment is hiring for an innovative global climate and performance engineering consultancy seeking an Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their Noise, Acoustics, and Vibration team in Brighton. If you're a graduate passionate about acoustics, noise, or vibration and keen to contribute to building, industry, and infrastructure projects while minimising environmental impacts, we want to hear from you!



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field noise/vibration measurements and building assessments.
  • Analyze data and utilize software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, and Insul.
  • Design noise and vibration mitigation solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports and meet project milestones.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Acoustical, Environmental, or related engineering fields focused on acoustics, noise, or vibration.
  • Independent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Word; desirable experience with software like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, and AutoCAD.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel occasionally.
