Teaching Assistant

EduTalent Group is seeking a proactive and caring Teaching Assistant to support classroom learning in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Brighton. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing across the classroom.

Key responsibilities:

• Support pupils with academic, social and emotional needs
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Deliver targeted support to individuals or small groups
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• A patient, caring and adaptable attitude
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
