- Advising, preparing and presenting cases in the Magistrates’ Court including Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Sexual Risk Orders, Anti-Social Behaviour injunctions and closure orders.
- To effectively manage family disclosure and Police Property Act cases.
- You will be responsible for the running of your cases including liaising with clients, opponents, court and witnesses. Opening files and drafting all paperwork for the civil order applications. You will be responsible for your own management information data input completion, administration and diary keeping.
- Advocacy, mainly at Magistrates Court.
- Previous experience handling work in the Magistrates’ and/or Count Court.
- Confident advocate.
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
- Hybrid/remote working available.
- Salary up to £55000 plus comprehensive benefits package.
- You can be based out of any of the firms offices, but time will be split working remotely, in the office and in Suffolk courts.
