Legal Accounts Clerk

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
We are working with our client, a well-established and respected legal practice, with an office based in Brighton. They are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant who is confident in legal aid billing. You will join their friendly and supportive Accounts team, taking on a varied role, putting your legal sector experience into practice, hitting the ground running! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a growing, well established organisation.
Key responsibilities:

Handling incoming calls and emails

Purchase Ledger
- Managing staff expenses and petty cash
- Entering and managing data within online banking systems
- Processing third-party transactions (e.g. Land Registry, HMCTS)
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
- Adhering to anti-money laundering procedures and internal policies
- General administrative support within the finance team
