Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in personal injury law?

We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded law firm seeking a proactive Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support their busy and growing PI department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that values its staff, promotes from within, and offers a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role:Working closely with fee earners and solicitors, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the smooth progression of personal injury claims from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. Duties will include:

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence

  • Organising case files and ensuring compliance with key deadlines

  • Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and insurance companies

  • Handling incoming calls and client enquiries in a professional manner

  • Assisting with scheduling, diary management, and court documentation

  • Preparing bundles and supporting trial preparation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within personal injury (RTA, EL/PL, or clinical negligence experience desirable)

  • Solid understanding of the litigation process and CPR rules

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Proficiency with legal case management systems
