This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that organises educational experiences. Our client is looking for a Senior Account Manager to deliver the best customer experience, managing the retention and growth of new business.

Job Overview:

You will need a blend of strategic thinking and day to day account management experience as these are key elements of the role. Our client is looking for someone who can implement and deliver change for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver or exceed individual and team sales targets in line with the sales and customer retention strategy/annual plans for the region on a monthly basis
  • To support a small team of Account Managers acting as a role model, coach and support to facilitate growth in sales, working on key analytics to support retention and sales conversion.
  • To deputise for the Head of Sales from time to time.
  • To ensure the stipulated workflows/procedures on our CRM/Reservation systems are followed within the team, ensuring information is clear, accurate and up to date so that another team member can progress at any point in time.
  • To be the main point of contact for a group of customers to ensure they receive sales and service excellence throughout the buying process anticipating their needs with relevant trip proposals, handling escalations and/or supporting problem resolution as required.
  • To build longstanding partnering customer relationships through the brand values and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This includes carrying out school visits, parent evenings and from time to time being our Representative overseas or industry events.
  • To regularly review and track progress on margin guidelines, competitor information and collaborate with other teams within the business to develop or enhance Itineraries/product or improve our service levels and overall effectiveness.
