Temporary Office Administrator - Immediate Start

Location: Brighton

Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £12.80 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: 1-month temporary cover (with possible extension)

Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, 1 hour for lunch) - Part-time hours considered for the right candidate

We are partnering with a well-established client in the Brighton and Hove area who are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support their small, professional team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit business in a specialist industry, known for its client-focused service and collaborative working environment.

The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and values someone who can hit the ground running to keep operations running smoothly during a short-term booking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with overflow from other offices
  • Provide administrative support using MS Word and Excel
  • Respond to client enquiries and manage general communication
  • Update and retrieve information from the CRM system
  • Chase outstanding payments for completed work
  • Carry out general office duties such as managing post and supplies

  • Able to work independently with a proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who enjoys contributing to a positive work environment
  • Confident managing a varied workload and adjusting to shifting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general IT systems
