Do you have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or related needs? We're looking for a reliable and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Brighton & Hove.

You'll work closely with children who need extra support to access learning and feel safe and understood at school. You'll work with the the SENCO and wider team to set and review targets that help students manage sensory input and stay engaged in learning.

An excellent opportunity for those with TA experience or anyone looking to take their first step into teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students to stay focused, feel secure and engage with learning.
  • Use visual aids and structure routines (e.g. timetables, task boards)
  • Promote emotional regulation (using Zones of regulation)
  • Monitor progress and behaviours

  • Experience with autism, ADHD or other neurodiverse needs
  • Calm, patient, and flexible
  • Good communication and a team player
  • Enhanced DBS (willing to apply for one)
