Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal or Fee Earner looking to take the next step in your legal career?Our client, a respected and inclusive law firm, is seeking a dedicated Private Client Paralegal or Fee Earner to join their friendly and diverse team in their centrally located Brighton office.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Private Client department with a varied caseload. You will assist with and, where appropriate, manage matters relating to:

  • Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Estate administration
  • Drafting inheritance tax forms and estate accounts
  • Liaising with clients and third parties with professionalism and sensitivity

About You:

You may be an experienced Legal Assistant, a Paralegal, or currently studying CILEx with demonstrable experience in private client work. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Practical experience preparing Wills and LPAs
  • The ability to manage estate administration with limited supervision
  • Experience drafting HMRC forms and estate accounts
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • A willingness to develop skills in handling more complex estates and potentially manage your own files under supervision
