An established and fast-growing main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a high-profile regeneration scheme on the South Coast.

The Project
The role centres around a major seafront regeneration scheme involving the demolition, replacement and refurbishment of historic structures.
Works will be delivered across two concurrent phases and include:
Demolition works
New in-situ reinforced concrete structures
Reinstatement of listed and heritage elements
Highway works and service diversions
Public realm improvements
Architectural, mechanical and electrical works
External and internal fit-out elements
The Role
You will take the project from the latter stages of pre-construction through to site commencement in Q1 2026, followed by delivery through to phased handovers in 2027 and 2028.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing the project delivery team
Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
Overseeing design development and coordination
Establishing construction methodology and programme
Ensuring safe, efficient and compliant site operations
Full contractual, commercial and financial responsibility
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a main contractor
Track record of delivering projects valued at 20m+
Strong leadership and team management capability
Excellent technical, contractual and commercial awareness
Experience delivering public sector schemes under NEC contracts (preferred)
