Property Manager

Location: Brighton

Salary: £28k - £35k DOE+ company benefits

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am – 17.30pm

Parking available for employees.

Are you an experienced Property Manager or Property Administrator looking to take the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable and well-established property organisation based in the heart of Brighton.

You’ll be working within a supportive and fast-paced team, playing a key role in the management of a diverse property portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and thrives in a dynamic, professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with tenants to ensure routine checks and compliance requirements are met.
  • Identify and report property issues, instructing relevant contractors as needed.
  • Carry out regular property inspections.
  • Manage tenant screenings and oversee evictions when necessary.
  • Update and manage EPC, Gas Safety, and EIC documentation.
  • Prepare regular property status reports for internal use.
  • Advertise vacant units and negotiate lease terms.
  • Administering Section 21’s and 8’s.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with the maintenance coordinator.
  • Support the wider team in managing the portfolio and instructing remedial actions.
  • Accurately maintain and update property records and systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid background in property management and looking for a more senior position.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • Experience conducting property inspections and reporting issues.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Confidence using IT systems with good data management skills.
