Role: Senior Account Manager (Maternity Cover)

Location: Brighton office based (regular visits to office) but working across South / West

Hours: Full-time (flexible/home working supported)

Pay: From 34,000 per annum + target related commission (15k)

MAT Cover (9 - 12 months)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and driven Senior Account Manager to join a dynamic organisation based in Brighton, covering the South / West regions of England. This is a key role focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences, retaining and growing accounts, and supporting a small team to achieve regional targets.

The Requirements:

  • Strong sales, retention, and objection-handling skills
  • Experience supporting or mentoring a sales team
  • Confident use of CRM and reservation systems
  • Commercially aware with a solid grasp of margins and competitor activity
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of educational travel products and relevant regulations
  • Clean driving licence desirable
  • Must be eligible to work with children and pass a DBS check if required

The Role:

  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue and retention targets
  • Support and coach a small team of Account Managers
  • Deputise for the Head of Sales as needed
  • Manage key customer accounts, anticipating needs and resolving issues
  • Ensure CRM processes are followed accurately across the team
  • Build long-term customer relationships and represent the company at events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve products and services
  • Promote a high-performance, customer-focused culture
  • Regularly act on feedback to enhance the customer journey
