We’re seeking a detail-driven and proactive Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who’s passionate about accuracy, reporting, and compliance - and who wants to make a tangible impact within a fast-moving business.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and will be involved in the preparation of statutory accounts, tax submissions, and internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

Assist in the production of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) and internal policies.

Prepare and submit VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and other statutory filings.

Support balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

Partner with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Drive process improvements and support systems upgrades or implementations.

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalist with relevant experience).

2+ years in a financial accounting or external audit role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax compliance.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, Xero).

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
