Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee technical accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Lead month-end activities, manage statutory accounts, and coordinate audit processes.
- Liaise with suppliers, auditors, and tax advisors to maintain regulatory compliance and strong governance.
- Support cash flow forecasting, debt reporting, and proposals for funding.
- Play a key role in financial process optimisation and onboarding new companies.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in tax preparation and ensure timely submissions.
- Provide support to other accounting and finance tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
