Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently supporting a business based in East Bristol, who are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join their team.
We are looking for an individual seeking a long term position, to initially join on a 3 month temp basis - To then become permanent. This organisation has an excellent benefits package including study support, flexible working hours and more. Alongside the BAU tasks of management accounts and monthly process - You will also be involved in business partnering, several projects and sharing ideas. A great role if you love variety.
Role: Management Accountant
Start Date: ASAP/Can also wait for notice period/end of contract
Location: East Bristol
Duration: 3 Months - To then become permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Working pattern: Hybrid - 2 x day a week in the office & flexible working hours. Full time, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
- Production of month end journals including income, deferred income, payroll recharges, depreciation, accruals and prepayments and intercompany
- Booking the monthly VAT adjustments
- journal adjustments
- Preparation of monthly trial balance
- Balance sheet reconciliations for all material Balance Sheet accounts, including intercompany, deferred income and VAT.
- monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Implementing and running the continuous improvement / monthly process review
- Preparation and presentation of monthly overheads to the Heads of departments
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience using an ERP system
- Confident using Excel - Pivot tables/VLOOKUP ability
- Previous experience in the assisting/production of management accounts
- QBE/AAT/PQ or currently studying CIMA/ACCA
- Strong understanding of debits & credits
- Willingness to learn & share ideas
- Great communication
