Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting a client based in Central Bristol who are looking for an Interim Assistant Accountant to join on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 12 months.
Role: Assistant Accountant
Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Start date: ASAP/Flexible
Working pattern: Full time 37.5 hours a week. 3 days a week in the office for 3 months - Then 1 day a week in the office for the remaining 9 months
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Responsibilities:
- Credit card transactions
- Processing invoices
- Assisting with the production of management accounts
- Assisting with project codes and trackers
- Assisting pulling reports together & project reporting
Skills/experience needed:
- Experience in assisting with month end (management accounts)
- Experience managing both sides of the ledgers
- Understanding of variance balances
- Good Excel ability - Pivot table, VLOOKUP
- AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier
- Charity experience - Desirable but not an essential
