Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting a client based in Central Bristol who are looking for an Interim Assistant Accountant to join on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 12 months.

Role: Assistant Accountant

Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Start date: ASAP/Flexible

Working pattern: Full time 37.5 hours a week. 3 days a week in the office for 3 months - Then 1 day a week in the office for the remaining 9 months

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Responsibilities:

  • Credit card transactions
  • Processing invoices
  • Assisting with the production of management accounts
  • Assisting with project codes and trackers
  • Assisting pulling reports together & project reporting

Skills/experience needed:

  • Experience in assisting with month end (management accounts)
  • Experience managing both sides of the ledgers
  • Understanding of variance balances
  • Good Excel ability - Pivot table, VLOOKUP
  • AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier
  • Charity experience - Desirable but not an essential
