I'm excited to be recruiting for a leading consultancy recognised for its work in acoustic design and sustainability. They're looking for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join a collaborative, innovative team that delivers high-quality acoustic solutions across a wide range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage acoustic projects across education, healthcare, residential, office, and performing arts sectors

  • Provide technical expertise and ensure all designs meet industry standards

  • Communicate complex acoustic concepts clearly to clients and wider project teams

  • Conduct sound insulation testing and site-based assessments

  • Use tools such as CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A and Revit for modelling and design

  • Help develop new tools, processes and solutions to improve project delivery

  • Support and mentor junior consultants



What You'll Need

  • Strong technical knowledge of building acoustics and relevant standards

  • Project management experience across multiple sectors

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • Experience with sound insulation testing and site work

  • Interest or proficiency in acoustic/environmental modelling software

  • A collaborative mindset and passion for sustainable design



Day-to-Day

  • Working with architects, engineers and clients to develop acoustic design solutions

  • Completing site visits and acoustic performance assessments

  • Modelling and simulating acoustic environments

  • Preparing detailed reports and design documentation

  • Sharing ideas, innovating and supporting junior team members

  • Building strong client relationships
