Graduate Engineering Geologist (Bristol)

Are you a recent geology, geoscience, geotechnical or environmental engineering graduate seeking an entry level position in the Southwest? This multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in ground investigation, contaminated land assessments and waste management have over 20 years of expertise in the industry and are seeking a graduate to join the team. The Graduate Engineering Geologist will receive expert training in order to:
- Attend and assist with site walkovers.
- Carry out site investigations.
- Soil and rock logging.
- Groundwater and gas monitoring.
- Prepare phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
- Write factual and interpretive reports.
- Carry out in situ testing and overall observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.
The successful Graduate Engineering Geologist must:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Hold a full UK driving licence as travel to site for work is essential.
- Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
- Live in near to Bristol.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
