We're looking for a Lead Audio Visual Technician who thrives on variety, innovation, and hands-on project delivery. You'll be the go-to expert on-site-leading installs, managing crews, and working with cutting-edge tech that shapes immersive customer environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead AV installations across the UK-from first fix to final commissioning
- Conduct site surveys, assess technical needs, and scope resource requirements
- Collaborate with in-house teams and trusted subcontractors, acting as crew leader
- Provide audio and lighting programming support and post-install servicing
- Brief partners, manage risk, and make smart on-the-ground decisions
- Support the onboarding of new engineers and subcontractors
- Deliver service visits in line with SLAs and high-profile client expectations
What You Bring:
- 3+ years' experience installing professional AV systems
- Great communicator-comfortable working in a client-facing, field-based role
- Strong understanding of AV tech: LCD/LED displays, video over IP, conferencing systems, video matrix, audio control
- Solid grasp of networking, IP-based AV, and fault-finding
- Familiar with Crestron, Q-SYS, or BiAmp? That's a big plus!
Bonus Skills & Certs:
- CSCS/ECS card
- IPAF & PASMA
- First Aid trained
- Full UK driving licence
Schedule & Travel:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Expect UK-wide travel and overnight stays
