We're recruiting for a well-established provider of NHS ophthalmology services, offering modern, high-spec clinics dedicated to improving lives through better sight and eye health.

You'll be part of a welcoming theatre team, supporting a busy day-surgery service focused on cataract and other minor eye procedures. Your day will include:

  • Preparing the theatre and surgical equipment for each patient list
  • Providing skilled scrub assistance and anticipating the surgeon's needs
  • Maintaining strict infection control and safety standards
  • Supporting medicine management and clinical audits
  • Recording accurate patient notes and maintaining stock levels
  • Helping to ensure every patient feels calm, comfortable and cared for

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (NMC or HCPC)
  • Previous scrub or theatre experience (ophthalmic experience an advantage)
  • Detail-focused, calm under pressure, and committed to patient care
