Landing Gear Test Engineer
Bristol (hybrid working 60% onsite) – contract until end of December 2025 (with potential to extend) – Pay rate £42.61 p/h PAYE basic (£48.80 including holiday pay) or £57 p/h Umbrella

As a Test and Analytics Engineer you will contribute to the delivery of the Landing Gear Test Team's mission through:
• Support certification through integrated testing and analysis.
• Establish and improve the maturity of aircraft systems through testing and the collaboration with other engineering teams.
• React to and help resolve in-service system issues.
• Aim for product safety beyond certification requirements.
• Implement synergies and alignment between lab and flight test.
• Every day will present a new challenge, you will test and improve your skills on a variety of activities including Lab testing, test analysis and data analytics.

Deliver Lab Testing:
• Agreement on Lab Test Requirements, definition and validation of test benches.
• System level testing of new fuel functionality.
• In-service investigation by reproducing events on avionics benches.
• Analysing test data.
• Preparing Lab Test Results Analysis.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of ATA32 or other aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analytics.
• Validation and Verification process knowledge (V&V).
• Good interpersonal skills and capable of working as a team and autonomously.

Additional Information:
• Due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved, all candidates must be capable of gaining a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.
