Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant - 3 week FTC

Salary: £14.10Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week (flexible over 5 days)

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in Bristol, which is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their finance team on a 1-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a busy and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and raising invoices for various revenue streams, including rent, services, and bookings.
  • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling the sales ledger.
  • Managing aged debtors and assisting with credit control to ensure timely payments.
  • Handling financial queries from clients and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining financial records and updating spreadsheets for budget monitoring.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial data.
  • Supporting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Providing general finance support as required by the team.

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software.
  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and general IT systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
