We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records for one of our clients the Professional Services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Accounting & Finance department based in the centre of Bristol near the Hippodrome.

Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to support financial reporting requirements.
  • Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth operations.

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

  • Must have a proven track record of using XERO.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Experience in managing financial records and transactions.
