Job Title: Building Physics Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000

They are looking for a Building Physics Engineer to join their Bristol based energy team and help deliver on numerous exciting construction projects.

Duties for the role of Building Physics Engineer include:
- Use IES-VE software to assess energy use, overheating and daylighting to optimise building performance
- Work alongside the design team and liaise with clients to build strong working relationships
- Ensure projects are in compliance with Part L and Part O regulations
- Provide consultancy on building physics aspects of projects
- Carry out energy modelling for BREEAM projects
Skills and experience for the role of Building Physics Engineer:
- Relevant degree within a sustainability, energy, architecture, or engineering discipline
- Relevant post qualification experience in a Building Physics Engineering role
- Experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis
- Familiarity with UK Building Regulations such as Part L and Part O
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, sustainable building design, and energy systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Live within a commutable distance to Bristol
