Finance Implementation Consultant (Business Central) | 6 month contract | £400-450pd | Bristol (with flexibility surrounding remote working)
Altum are pleased to be working closely with a health charity who are going through some key changes across the finance function and wider organisation. This Finance Implementation Consultant will join them on a 6 month contract to ensure the smooth implementation, 'go-live' support and addressing any issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- To quickly build a detailed understanding of Business Central and Continia set up.
- Lead on configuration and process set-up decisions and fixes for transactional processing and balance sheet.
- Establish and embed new / changed controls both in and out of the system.
- Ensure appropriate resourcing to ensure effective management of the post implementation period.
- Support with embedding the system across the organisation including training and guidance.
- Support the Finance team in responding to questions and issues.
- Develop the Finance team so as to be able to handover the responsibilities above.
Person Specification
- Very experienced and confident in using Business Central - essential
- Experience of implementing systems previously
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant
- Ideally have some experience or understanding of charity accounting, including VAT
- A strong communicator, willing to work with the team and train them where necessary
The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around the Bristol area, to have access to the Central Bristol offices (hybrid - 2 days a week), however, flexibility may be considered if a suitable candidate is not local. They must be based in the UK however even though a more remote option will be available.
Candidates must be available for a June start and can commit for a 6 month contract.
