Sonic Summary

People Solutions is seeking a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver for a Monday to Friday position starting at 06:00 in Bristol, with Saturday overtime available.
The role offers competitive pay starting at £15.00 per hour, with additional rates of £22.50 for Saturdays and £30.00 for Sundays.
Candidates must have a minimum of six months of experience driving Category C vehicles and hold a valid UK Category C Licence, CPC Card, and Digi Card.
Responsibilities include operating Class 2 vehicles, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring cargo safety while adhering to traffic laws.
Training will be provided, and applicants should be punctual with good communication skills and a solid understanding of traffic regulations.

Rates of Pay:

Training: Starting at £13.00 per hour depending on experience.
Basic: £15.00 per hour
Saturday : £22.50 per hour
Sunday : £30.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
Have a minimum of six months experience driving Category C vehicles
Previous experience as a Skip Lorry Driver
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills

Training

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
After successful Assessment, there will be a week of paid training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
