Experienced HGV Driver (Class 1 or 2)

Experienced HGV Driver (Class 1 or 2 to drive beavertail plant lorry) 

Due to retirement CBL (Clive Barford Ltd) are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join the team at their Portbury, Bristol centre on a permanent, full time basis.  Valid HGV licence essential, experience in loading and unloading construction machinery preferred. However full training will be available for drivers new to this industry.

This is a good opportunity to join a leading, family owned, construction equipment specialist in Southern Britain. 

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week but you must be flexible with regard to hours due to the nature of the work.   

You will be responsible for the successful delivery and collection of plant as well as ensuring the working order of your vehicle and safely securing all loads carried.  Duties also include: planning delivery routes; loading and unloading plant machinery; making sure loads are safely secured; following traffic reports and altering your route if necessary; completing delivery paperwork.
