Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £17.00 per hour
- Friday: £17.55 per hour
- Sunday: £20.35 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivering bins to new customers
- Operate and drive vehicle in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Collecting bins from customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Yard duties such as organising bin store, litter picking, cleaning and light repairs.
Essential Skills:
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Training
- Training will be provided and ongoing support throughout
