Our client is looking for HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection and Recycling drivers for temp to perm contract in Bristol.

Work is Monday till Friday with occasional Saturday and Sunday work offered for higher rates.

Normal working hours are 0600 till 1400, sometimes overtime is available on the day. Work consists of Refuse Collection with loaders (collecting commercial bins) and Recycling (without loaders involving more handball). Occasionally you might be asked to help out on the yard and the pay remains the same as drivers.

Ideal driver will have:

- Full CPC, UK Licence with Cat C and Tacho card

- 1 year of previous driving experience (although lower might be considered)

- Decent knowledge of driving laws and regulations

For first 12 weeks:

16.25 basic 24.38 OT 32.50 Sun and BH

After 12 weeks:

17.27 basic 25.91 OT 34.54 Sunday and BH

CURRENTLY CLIENT HAS 2 DEPOTS - 1 IN AVONMOUTH AND ANOTHER IN ST. PHILLIPS AREA - YOU MIGHT BE REQUIRED TO WORK FROM EITHER OF THOSE

Following a successful assessment an induction will be arranged the next day and after that the worker will be able to start regular shifts. Assessment is not paid, consists of theory and driving test and normally takes a couple of hours.
