Van Driver

Flexible People Ltd are currently looking for reliable and professional Van Driver's to work with one of our valued clients based in the Bristol area.

The role involves delivering wholesale cleaning products and stationery supplies to hospitality venues such as hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars across the region. There will also be deliveries to establishments such as serviced offices, libraries etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, meeting people and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

The pay rate is 12.60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Averaging 40-50 drops per route
• Safely operate a 3.5T van to complete daily multi-drop deliveries
• Load and unload products, ensuring goods are secured and handled with care
• Deliver to hospitality venues in a professional and timely manner
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
• Provide excellent customer service on every drop
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and report any defects or issues

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Smart appearance is essential.
• Ensuring orders are delivered safely and within set timescales
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery preferred
• Good knowledge of Bristoland surrounding areas
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be available)
• Start times are7amplease be flexible as start times may vary between 6am-8am.
• Average shift length: 9-11 hours

You must have a valid UK License, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.

• Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
• Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
