Your new companyHays Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and possess either a Gold CSCS card or an SSSTS qualification.Your new role
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Carpenter.
- Possession of a Gold CSCS card or SSSTS qualification.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
