Role Program and commission PLCs for automation projects, focusing on winding/motion control
Set up and support drives, control panels, and motor systems
Understand customer needs and deliver tailored control solutions
Assist with cloud integration, remote monitoring, and data-driven automation
Provide technical support on-site and remotely
Requirements Experience as an Applications, PLC, or Automation Engineer
Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
Knowledge of winding, motion control, or rotating equipment
Strong understanding of drives, motors, and control panels
Familiar with cloud platforms, IIoT, or digital monitoring
Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng or similar)
Willing to travel UK-wide (50%)
