The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Developmentwillfocus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts inthe South of Wales and parts of the South West,for instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager willideallyhave experience selling or managing key accounts within a mechanical engineering environment related to instrumentation and flow control, for example, valves, actuators, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, mechanical seals, gaskets, control systems, pressure gauges, flow meters, and or similar mechanical engineering products and systems.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
  • Develop new business opportunities and managing key accounts inthe South of Wales and parts of the South West,for instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems. via distribution channels and OEM customers.
  • Maintaininginstrumentation and flow control productsales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Work remotely/ field basedcovering South Wales and parts of the South West UK with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.


Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similarwithin a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience selling mechanical engineering products / systems related to instrumentation and flow control, for example, valves, actuators, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, mechanical seals, gaskets, control systems, pressure gauges, flow meters, and or similar mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided.
  • Experienced Mechanical / Service Engineers looking for progression into sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the South of Wales and parts of the South West UK.
