Area Sales Executive (Plant Equipment / Pipefitting)

45,000 - 50,000 + Performance Bonuses + Car Allowance + Mileage Paid + Field-Based + Autonomy

Bristol - Covering the SouthWest

Are you a sales professional with experience in mechanical engineering or construction, looking to take on a new challenge in a well-established plant hire company that offers competitive performance bonuses?

This company have been established for over 40 years. They are specialist suppliers of a range of the best low-level access equipment and plant machinery, from manufacturers such as Novopress, Ridgid, Youngman's and Power Tower. They are looking to expand their client base by bringing on an Area Sales Manager for the SouthWest.

Your responsibilities will be to retain and provide continued service for existing clients, while generating new leads for business. Assisting in developing a regional sales plan for the SouthWest. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Directors of the company daily. You will be learning the technical knowledge of a variety of equipment to ensure competency when negotiating with customers.

This role would suit anyone in the Bristol area with mechanical experience and a passion for sales in a B2C and B2B setting, looking to be rewarded for the performance within a nation-leading Plant machinery supplier.

The Role:

  • Establish potential business leads with customers
  • Maintain existing client relationships
  • Develop a regional sales plan for the SouthWest
  • Report daily to the company directors
  • Travel to clients to negotiate sales

The Person:

  • Experience in the mechanical engineering industry
  • Experience in a field-based sales role
  • Experience using CRM tools (SalesForce)
