A top-tier UK commercial law firm – recognised as the market leader in healthcare law – is seeking a commercially minded, relationship-driven Clients & Markets Manager to help shape the future of its NHS Health & Care practice.

The firm partners with almost 2,000 organisations nationwide, delivering legal and advisory expertise across housing, local government, health and social care, construction, energy, higher education and financial services. With 11 consecutive years of 10%+ revenue and profit growth, it combines sector-leading expertise with ambitious growth plans.

The Role

The Clients & Markets Manager will work closely with the Head of the NHS Health & Care Market Focus Group to:

  • Build the firm’s profile and reputation in the healthcare sector
  • Strengthen client relationships and win new business
  • Deliver impactful marketing campaigns, events, and thought leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic business and client plans
  • Collaborate with business services teams, including BD, Marketing, Knowledge, Finance, HR, IT, and more

This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will bring ideas, drive strategy, and deliver measurable results. The role is supported by a wider BD & Marketing team, external agencies, and sector experts – plus access to training, industry events, and market intelligence.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in business development, marketing, and client growth in professional services
  • Knowledge of the NHS and health & care landscape (advantageous) (we will happily look at experienced Legal BD Managers)
  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and manage multiple priorities
  • Confident with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing tools
